Vacuum Services

Clean Harbors' specialized Vacuum Services for utilities collect and transport (wet or dry) hazardous and nonhazardous materials.  Vacuum equipment including stainless steel, carbon steel, dry and liquid units is selected based on the nature and quantity of the material to be removed.

Oil/Water Separators

Our professionals pump and clean separators containing both liquid and sludge from maintenance garages, power stations and a wide variety of pits and sumps.

Product Site Transfers

Using vacuum trucks, transporters, Cuscos, air movers, vacuum trucks and portable pumps, we provide site transfers of liquids, semi-fluids, and sludge composed of all types of oil, gasoline and chemical materials.

Vaults, Manholes and Catch Basins

We pump and clean electrical and telecommunications manholes, vaults, catch basins, and intake/outtake grates free of obstructions and of any spilled materials.  Clean Harbors has responded to tens of thousands of emergency and scheduled manhole cleanouts, which involve everything from preventative maintenance, releases caused by circuit overloads, cable oil line ruptures, transformer explosions and fires, and contamination from an outside source.

Power Plants

Our specialists provide liquid/solid pumping and transfers from storage tanks, wastewater treatment tanks, utility vaults, process sumps and tanks, bag house dust, boiler tailings, gypsum, and other dust and fine particulate matter.
