Exchanger Cleaning

Clean Harbors Exchanger Cleaning Services offers both shell side and tube side exchanger cleaning.  We provide a wide range of automated high pressure water jetting technology to ensure bundles are thoroughly cleaned inside and out, and operators are kept a safe distance from the high pressure water stream.

Shell Side Cleaning

A single operator in the fully enclosed bundle blaster cab cleans the shell side of exchangers with up to 10,000 psi.  We rotate the bundles during cleaning, ensuring the entire surface of the exchanger is blasted, and we can also collect debris and water if required.

Clean Harbors bundle blasters are capable of cleaning exchangers up to 72 inches in diameter, 40 feet in length and 70,000 lbs in weight.  We will get your bundles cleaned quicker and safer with this unit.

Tube Side Cleaning

5 Lance TLE

Clean Harbors 5 Lance TLE is specifically designed for tube side cleaning of large volumes of bundles during shutdowns. From a climate controlled cab, one operator has an unobstructed view to control equipment movements with a joystick, turn the bundle rollers, operate the outriggers and move the lance bed.  This stable rigid lance machine provides efficient and cost effective cleaning, allowing us to clean 500 to 750 tubes per hour.

3 Lance TLE

Clean Harbors 3 Lance TLE cleans the tube side of bundles with flex lances and is capable of vertical and horizontal cleaning.  This remote controlled unit allows us to clean 250 to 300 tubes per hour and excels at removing very hard products from tubes with its back and forth movement.

Single Lance

Clean Harbors Single Lance tube cleaner provides exceptional cleaning results with its consistent speed and two-way cleaning. Its lightweight and compact design increases operator efficiency and is perfect for tight spaces as well as horizontal and vertical cleaning.  With this single lance system, we can clean 80 to 100 tubes per hour.
